Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. Her sisters, who were younger than her, raised her, but she often faced bullying in the school because of her big legs. Graham was diagnosed as having ADHD shortly following her graduation from elementary school. However, she was able to overcome it as well as many other difficulties in her younger teenage years. A talent agent discovered Graham when she was twelve in an Nebraska shopping center. When she graduated in 2005, Lincoln Southwest High School she appeared in multiple magazines and billboards. It was a challenge to find work because of her unusual body shape at the beginning of her career. Graham was offered to appear on catalogs for several years however she wasn't informed that her career would progress beyond those simple tasks. It was fortunate that she could prove her session casters' wrong and see rapid progress in her career. In 2007, she was interviewed by Sally Singer of "Vogue" magazine. It was one of her first big break-throughs. In 2009, she was featured as a model in "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can be Beautiful at Any Size" with Sally Singer. Graham was once more in the news when she was featured as a model in the controversial Lane Bryant commercial. It was eventually banned in several countries. As the controversy grew and she was on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show". Graham quickly became an enthralling plus size model. Grande began acting and singing at a young age. In 2008, Grande was offered a role in her first Broadway show 13 before she began to appear in TV roles of a smaller size. She got her first big break in 2010, by appearing on the Nickelodeon TV show Victorious. She played Cat Valentine a teenage girl attending a performing art school. The year 2013 saw the cancellation of the sitcom, she starred as Sam & Cat.
