Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani as well as a Peruvian Muay Thai fighter and mixed martial artist competing with the Flyweight Division of UFC. She is older than her fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko first began combat sports as an Muay Thai kickboxer. Shevchenko made her debut at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament of 2003. Shevchenko defeated Suzane McKell in the finals with a unanimous verdict. Antonina continued her career by winning a silver and bronze medals in 2007 and 2008 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 as well as the year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay Thai world champion. Antonia's professional debut came in 2003. In 2012, she took home her the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship, in 2016, she won the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship and in 2016, she won the WMC World Championships. Antonina was most recently seen battling Isa TIDBLAD Keskikangas during The Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won via unanimous verdict. Antonina Shevchenko made the professional MMA record in 2002 at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan against Anara Bayanova. She was victorious with a TKO during the 2nd round. She went on to win her 2 subsequent fights in the WXF X-Impact World Championships of 2003. She was awarded an MMA record of 3-0. Shevchenko took a hiatus to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko won Anissa Haddaoui with an unanimous decision. She was then able to defeat Valerie Domergue, at Phoenix FC 4 in an unanimous vote. She resigned from the organization and started Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina utilized superior strikes in order to TKO Nievera by knees to her body while in the fight.
